PR is like football in many ways. You have to be on top of your game when you run out onto the pitch and it requires careful tactics and excellent team working skills. It’s also important to remember that it’s never a goal until the ball’s in the back of the net.
The first team at London PR played a blinder recently when we told the story of how Chelsea star David Luiz celebrated winning the Premiership title by buying Senturion elite supercar keys for his team mates, manager Antonio Conte and and club owner Roman Abramovich.
We don’t do a lot of sports stories here at London PR so it was interesting to pitch to a slightly different section of the media to our usual contacts and we found the football writers to be a great bunch.
A Game of Two Halves
It was very gratifying to keep a clean sheet and score some brilliant goals with the media in the form of excellent coverage for the client. We were particularly excited to be the number one sports story of the day on the Mail Online (pictured above).
The story also appeared in print on the back pages of every national newspaper the following day and on page 3 of the Daily Telegraph (click on image below to view). Lots of international coverage also followed.
Senturion is the ultimate gift for the man (or woman) who has everything. The key chosen for Chelsea’s owner Roman Abramovich really was out of this world with a core fashioned from a five billion year old meteorite.
When the referee’s whistle finally blew we could reflect on a great team performance with some fantastic goals and wonderful celebrations at London PR. OK, I think I’ve stretched this football analogy thing as far as it’ll go now. Time for an early bath.
