Our lovely vegan online retail client TheVeganKind has been profiled in the Daily Express today in a fantastic full page piece by features writer Jane Warren.
The business was founded by husband and wife team Karris and Scott McCulloch from Glasgow and is one of the UK’s fastest growing vegan businesses with a turnover approaching £2m.
We began our PR campaign for the site at the beginning of June and have already won coverage in the Mail Online and The Sun as well as today’s Daily Express – with coverage coming both in print and online.
Speaking after this morning’s publication TheVeganKind’s co-founder Scott McCulloch said: “Many thanks to Steve McComish and the London PR team for getting us this press on a topic which we love to be asked about.
“Our kids want for nothing dietary-wise. They miss out on nothing, apart from animals and animal by products in their diets.
“Any diet can be poorly executed, but when done right a vegan diet is hugely beneficial to human health, the environment and the avoidance of death and cruelty in our diets. It is regarded as the “optimal” diet by the World Health Organisation.
“Thanks Jane Warren for such a great article, focussing on the positives, rather than the incorrectly perceived negatives we sometimes see around the topic ✌🏼
“Richard Branson was right when he said ‘In the Near Future, We’ll Think It’s “Archaic” to Kill Animals for Food’.
“Veganism is the most positive outlook for the planet, and humanity as a whole.”
London PR boss Steve McComish said: “Karris and Scott, along with their children, are fantastic ambassadors for the vegan lifestyle and it is a real privilege to be able to bring them to the attention of the mass market through a mainstream PR campaign.
“We are looking forward to lots more media coverage to come for this great brand and the amazing family behind it.”
